Delete your Greece Powerball account

This page covers member accounts for the Greece Powerball website (greece-powerball.co.za) and the Greece Powerball Android app — they use the same account.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to info@greece-powerball.co.za with the subject line “Delete my account”.
2. Send it from the email address your account is registered under — that is how we verify the request is really yours. No other proof is needed.
3. We confirm by reply and delete the account. We respond within 30 days; in practice it is usually much faster.

What gets deleted

• Your account record: email address, name, hashed password, signup and sign-in timestamps, and marketing-email preference.
• Saved number picks and any other data tied to your account.
• Push-notification topic subscriptions tied to the app on your device are anonymous (they identify the device, not you) — uninstalling the app or turning alerts off in the app’s menu removes them.

What we keep, and for how long

• Fraud prevention and dispute resolution: a minimal record of the closed account is kept for 12 months after deletion, then removed.
• Consent records: records proving marketing consent you gave (and its withdrawal) are kept for 5 years, as required to demonstrate consent provenance under South Africa’s POPIA.
• Nothing else is retained. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
